Salman – Viveik ‘Dosti’ ?: La véritè

The news in a section of the press -- Salman Khan has offered a hand of friendship to Viveik Oberoi, Salman having remarked ‘Ab teri life se panvati gayi’ [since Viveik and Ash have reportedly split, Salman recommending Viveik for films -- seems like someone’s hallucinating. Of course, those close to Salman were amused by the development. Like someone jokingly remarked, “Don’t take the story with a pinch, but a sack of salt.”

Salman and Viveik had problems in the past, but the two actors stayed away from each other after Viveik called a press conference at his Juhu bungalow, telling the media that Salman had threatened him.

Back to the Salman-Viveik dosti ki khabar… Sources close to Salman have clarified to this writer that Salman had neither sent any text messages, nor called or even sent messages via friends to Viveik in the first place. Nor has Salman spoken loosely about Ash. “When Bhai [Salman] didn’t feel the need to speak three years ago, why should he stoop so low now?” the friend remarked.

What about the fact that Salman had offered ‘olive branch’ to Viveik and was even recommending him to producers? “That’s weird. Why should Bhai do that? There’s no truth to it,” the confidant states, “The thought of promoting or recommending his name to producers hasn’t even crossed Bhai’s mind. Name one producer Bhai has spoken to…”

Now that the Salman camp has denied the news-report outright, the truth about the so-called ‘dosti’ is out in the open.
